Musician wannabe

Since my daughter won a pink guitar in Vegas, I have decided to learn how to play it. LOL.
However, I am cheating and learning to play via tabs, which is much easier than trying to play with chords.
So far I have learned one song and that's it. My poor family hears it over and over again. I act as if I am a real musician and play my guitar like a rock star, cheering myself on when I finish the song. My family just groan and tell me to put it away, but I think my dog appreciates my new found talent, or perhaps, he just wants me to take him for a walk.
The leash hanging from his mouth might be a giveaway.
