So Maddie, tell us a little about yourself.
Ah. Well, by day I’m a mild-mannered educator and by night, well, I’m a slave to my stories. Ha! Honestly, I do feel like I life a double life at times. I balance a day job and the writing career, some days more effectively than others. I’m a business traveler which adds to the balance struggle. Toss being a “grammy” into the mix, along with being the mother of adult children, and rounding it all out with a great relationship with my sweetie, that pretty much sums up my life.
Maddie, why do you write romance novels?
The answer to that question is simple. What better a subject to write about than developing relationships between two people? About the pitfalls along the way? About falling in love? About happily-ever-after?
What could be better?
I hope when you read my stories that you laugh a little, cry a little, and can’t wait to read a little bit more. That’s the way I feel when I write my stories. I laugh and cry and I can’t wait to get to the end so I can get my story told. That’s what keeps me writing!
What’s your pleasure? A little suspense? Small town humor? A cowboy or two? A little pirate action? A spicy love scene? It’s likely that within these pages you’ll find something that strikes your fancy.
