What does your writing schedule look like?

I would love to be a morning writer. I have this plan, you see, of what my life will look like when I write full time. I’d get up early, grab the cuppa java or two, slip around in my jammies for a while, and write until about 11:00 a.m. Take a shower and get dressed. Walk around the block. Linger over lunch. And get back to writing in the afternoon.

Ahem. Well, that is the fantasy. Since I support myself, I must have the day job and no jammies are allowed on the job! So, I work by day, write by night, and any free speck of time in between. I’ve learned to manage it quite well!

What is your next project?

I just finished a novella for Resplendence’s Wicked line. It is called Red: A Seduction Tale, and it’s a Cajun rougarou (werewolf) story – Little Red Riding Hood all grown up! My editor and I just finished up the final edits. The next project is book three in the Blackbeard series – THE QUEST. This story continues the story about the search for Blackbeard’s Chalice. Also a time-travel, this story, however, is set in the future.

If you could interview any of the characters in  your books, which one would it be, and why? What shocking thing might that character say?

Actually, I did this!  You can read an interview of my characters in Bed, Breakfast and You, a novella in the Ladies of Legend: Finding Home anthology here.  http://sisterwriters.blogspot.com/2007/12/maddie-james-interviews-her-characters.html

What else would you like to tell us?

Lyn, thanks again for sharing your space with me. I like they way you broke the interview up in different days. Great idea! I'm honored to have been your guest for the week.
