Q What have the reviews been like?>>

>>

A. (LOL!) The reviews have been really good. I'm thrilled to say a reviewer from Rogues and Romance even gave Rules of Darkness a Must Read Award. Below are some of the things said from that review:>>

>>

"…There's just the right amount of romance, darkness, and magic to create a perfect story…">>

>>

"Tia Fanning has written an exceptional novella. The relationship between Katia and Stoyan is realistically developed, and the rest of the characters bring much to the table…">>

>>

"The storyline is absolutely perfect. You'll be laughing, and crying, but in the end, you'll find yourself loving the story and extremely happy with how things turned out. Rules of Darkness is a fantastic story, and Tia Fanning is an amazing author…">>

Q.  Tell us about your new book coming out.>>

>>

A.  My next book due out is titled Taken with the Enemy. It's a contemporary erotic romance about a combat medic serving in Iraq. Currently, it's scheduled for release in early March 2008 from Resplendence Publishing.>>

Q.  What is your next project? >>

>>

A.  A book called Rules of Fire. It's a paranormal erotic romance and is the sequel to Rules of Darkness.>>

Excerpt from Rules of Fire>>

>>

I was breathless, caught up in this world of dreams, of magic, of lost love, of things needing to be made right.>>

"Angel, the ring belongs to you. Fulfill your destiny. Return to the master that loves you and has waited for you for so long. The master is near. He will come take you away from your pitiful life if you but…">>

I slid the ring onto my finger.>>

The salamander jumped from my hand.>>

There was a flash of light.>>

Suddenly, my guide was there.>>

She pushed my spirit out of my body with a force that knocked me, my spirit me, to the ground.>>

I looked up and found my physical form bathed in a golden glow. My eyes, large orbs of champagne colored topaz, sparkled brightly in the flickering flames.>>

She took possession of my body?>>

"You cannot have her," my guide declared.>>

Realizing she wasn't talking to me, I followed her piercing feline gaze.>>

Fear caught in my throat and I choked. A translucent shield of shimmering gold was the only thing standing between us and a humongous floating smoke demon with blazing eyes of fire.>>

The monster gave a hallow laugh. "You know the rules, guide. She wears my ring. She belongs to me.">>

>>

>>

>Thank you Tia, Rules of Fire sounds awesome! >

>>

>Tomorrow I will be asking Tia some really funky questions. Come back and vistit to find out what she munches on while writing. >
