Okay, let's continue the ghostly saga of my weekend. When we left off yesterday, I had a lady ghost touch me in the middle of the night, waking me up with chills.

My friend, Leigh really wanted to find a ghost and have it touch her. So paranormal romance writer, Tara Greenbaum, Leigh and I used special equipment to record ghostly experiences. Late at night, it was quiet in the small and dark town. An eerie coldness crept into the night air as we walked around the deserted streets. After finding odd cold spots, we walked toward the edge of town, into a darkened park.

It was so odd. We were told not to go into the trees or to leave the town's edge, but we wanted to see what was out there.

The single lamp in the park flicked off, completing the spooky feel. By taking only a few steps into the park, the temperature dropped about 50 degrees.

We then went back to the hotel and took some photos and tried to record EVP's (Electronic Voice Phenomena) that could not heard by the human ears. Sitting down in the dark parlor, Leigh saw a short black shadow run past the window behind my head. But other than that, we didn't feel anything around us.

So off to bed we went.

I heard a tap, tap on the wall next to me, which made me jump. Because we were on the 2nd story floor and the other side of the wall was outside. Then I crawled into bed and heard scratching noises that Leigh also heard. But then it stopped.

After settling in bed, I went to sleep. A few hours later I woke from a humming noise in my ear that sounded like a plane flying really close. But it wasn't. Then I felt something touch me, sending icy chills up my arm. I woke up and said, "Hello".

Sitting up I shook Leigh awake and told her there was a child in the room. I asked the child to come forward and touch my friend. Leigh put her hands out and then felt the same sensation as I did. At last she had contact.

We had bubble wrap in our room and the child began to pop the bubbles. The spirit was fascinated with it. For hours the ghostly child popped those bubbles. Since I wasn't going to get any sleep, I got up and digged out more bubble wrap, but this time, the bubbles were huge, so the sound would be louder.

I put it on the chair and went back to bed. After a couple of minutes I heard.

Pop, pop, pop. It was so cute.

The next morning the owner told us a little girl has been seen waundering the halls looking for her mother. I'm thinking, she had fun in our room the night before.

All in all, Cassadanga was an incredible experince. One I am willing to visit again and again. Next time I want to visit one of the mediums.
